Warbringer Post New Track Online

The much anticipated new Warbringer album, Waking Into Nightmares, is set for a May 19th release, but to tide everyone over until then the fine folks at Revolver Magazine are now streaming the blistering new track, "Prey For Death", which is only available for a week exclusively on Revolvermag.com. This new effort showcases the maturity of the band as a direct result of endless touring with such genre titans as Kreator, Exodus, Soilwork and Darkane coupled with the addition of a new, very skilled rhythm section.

Warbringer recently completed a new video for the track, "Severed Reality", which was shot by the acclaimed David Brodsky (Black Dahlia Murder, GWAR). This is a frenetic, performance based clip that perfectly captures the band’s live, unrelenting stage show. Look for the video to premiere on MySpace Metal this Friday, May 15th.

John Kevill (vocals) further comments: "The video for ‘Severed Reality’ got done in the middle of a tour, and it was done mostly live at the venue we were playing at that night in Milwaukee. We did a couple shots on the stage before anyone showed up, and then just shot the whole show for the video. As it turns out the show was fucking insane, we couldn't even fit all the stage divers in the video! David Brodsky went to put the whole thing together and it came out great, I think it is the strongest video we have had so far."

Waking Into Nightmares will quickly separate the band from the typical old-school thrash comparisons as they crafted an album that paves a new path throughout the metal genre. This could be best compared to the impact and influence Megadeth had with Peace Sells and perfectly executes an unrelenting barrage of straight up heavy metal madness. This is old school metal with a modern twist that will keep the circle pits moving all night long. Enjoy and look for the band on tour through the remainder of the year and feel free to visit Myspace.com for additional information.

With the release of 2008's War Without End, Warbringer established themselves as one the most ferocious young bands on the planet. With the chainsaw guitar riffs of John Laux and Adam Carroll accompanied by the evil screams of John Kevill, the band pillaged cities worldwide and established a rabid, hardcore fan base after months and months of touring. Breaking through the mainstream metal underground at a time when the term "Thrash Revival" was being coined, Warbringer struggled and fought to distance themselves from the flock and the rest of their peers with an extremely aggressive, energetic live performance and a determination to drive the old-school sound forward into the next decade with a sense of fresh air and originality.
