Eryn Woods Joins The Daisy Rock Artist Roster

Daisy Rock Girl Guitars, the original girl-guitar company, welcomes up-and-coming pop sensation Eryn Woods to its artist roster. Woods, who describes her music as rock and new-wave mixed with synth-pop, is on a mission to redefine the image of the typical "pop princess."

Woods is a classically trained vocalist with over 12 years of combined musical study. In 2005, her training paid off when she reached semi-finals of Gospel Dream, a nationally televised solo vocal competition. Soon after the competition aired, her career immediately gained momentum, and as a result, her music was featured on MTV’s Jersey Shore, VH1’s Beverly Hills Fabulous, and Mob Wives, along with the opportunity to share the stage with the likes of Robyn, Hey Monday, and The Ready Set.

In her upcoming album, Holl.E.Woods, Woods has written songs that are centered on the dichotomy of what the general public deems as normal and what is real, in addition to celebrating the individuality of all people. The song "Hollywood" conjures up the images of "making it," while "Laughin at Ya" is a malice response to a relationship gone sour, and "Gangstas, Geeks & Freaks" is the anthem of Holl.E.Woods, praising the outcasts that the world shuns. "The world judges people that are out of the norm, but in reality they are the same people who rule the world. It's about accepting your individuality and owning it," says Woods.
