Alice in Chains Reveal 'Stone' Lyrics Video
Alice in Chains presented their newest single, "Stone," with lyrics video, Blabbermouth reports Watch it below. The track is available as an instant download by pre-ordering the band's new album, "The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here," on iTunes. "Stone" follows the album's hugely successful first single "Hollow," which hit No. 1 on both the Mainstream and Active Rock radio charts, while its companion video has amassed more than a million views on YouTube. "The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here" is scheduled for release on May 28. The CD was recorded in Los Angeles with producer Nick Raskulinecz (Foo Fighters, Deftones). Alice in Chains guitarist Jerry Cantrell recently told Rolling Stone that the effort is "a unique record that's completely different from anything we ever did," adding, "The band is moving ahead in new territory that we haven't been to before, but we haven't lost our identity." "The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here" is the band's second with William DuVall on vocals. It follows up 2009's "Black Gives Way To Blue," the group's first all-new collection of material in 14 years and first since the 2002 death of original singer Layne Staley. Alice in Chains has recently premiered "Stone" during their live performance at Jimmy Kimmel Live show.
