Anthrax Finish 'Most Emotional' Album
Anthrax have described their new album "Worship Music" as the "most emotional" music they've ever made. The follow-up to 2003's "We've Come For You All" will feature reunited member Joey Belladonna on vocals. The album was originally recorded with vocalist Dan Nelson, but has since been re-worked with Belladonna back on board. Nelson left the band in 2009. In a recent interview with SoundSpike, Anthrax drummer Charlie Benante revealed: "This [record] is years in the making. It's finally at the end stages of it all." "I'm very happy", he added. "This record is like a labour of love in all the different ways that it took to get here. A lot of blood, a lot of sweat, a lot of tears. It's very emotional to get to this point. Nothing's fabricated here. It's all based on truth. This record is probably the most emotional record that we've ever had to make." The band's guitarist Scott Ian recently uploaded some video from the studio under the title "More New Anthrax". Scroll down to view below. "Worship Music" is tentatively due in September.
