Avenged Sevenfold have revealed the video for "Hail to the King," the title track to their brand new album due next week.
The video, below, sees the band performing in monochrome with skulls, snowstorms and a hint of "Game of Thrones" in the footage.
While the song has been streamed already, the band seem to be taking the unusual step of keeping most of the album secret. As noted by Metal Sucks, rock news sites like ours remain clueless about the direction of the new album: "Man, are they putting a lot of faith in this first single. Either they think it's that good, or they're like 'Eh, we're Avenged Sevenfold, we're gonna sell a sh-tload of records anyway.'"Meanwhile, the band recently revealed an animated collaboration with the "Metalocalypse" creators which will stream on YouTube soon. The album "Hail to the King" will be released in the US on August 27, with the band going on tour with Ghost and Deftones in October.Watch "Hail to the King" by Avenged Sevenfold here:What do you think of the new video?
