Epitaph Records has set September 2006 as the possible release date for Bad Religion's fourteenth studio album -- the follow-up to 2004's "The Empire Strikes First". Last month, The Bad Religion Page reported that bassist Jay Bentley stated that the album may surface for release this September, but no release date has been announced yet. Guitarist Brett Gurewitz is also handling the producing for the album.
The band is now working on about 12 songs or more for the new album. If the album comes out in September, some rumours believe that the release date would most likely be September 12, 2006, but this has not even been confirmed by the band.
Bad Religion are also yet to offer the title for the album.
Bad Religion have recently released a DVD, titled "Live At The Palladium" on March 7, 2006. The DVD was recorded at Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles, California and also includes interviews and other exclusive bonus stuff.
Vocalist Greg Graffin is supposed to be releasing his second album for his solo project "American Lesion" and Gurewitz is also going to produce it. However, there is no word or any additional information about the album.
