One of the most respected and lauded blues artists of our time, Buddy Guy, has delivered his favorite classic tracks to a new recording "Bring 'Em In". Some of Buddy's friends who joined him on the record to make it even more special include Carlos Santana, John Mayer, Keith Richards and Tracy Chapman.
This new CD is destined to be a
Buddy Guy classic and with the help of his friends -- it's looked forward to expose a new generation to The Blues.
Buddy Guy is the greatest living exponent of classic Chicago electric blues. He is a thrillingly inventive guitarist, a passionately soulful singer, and a peerless showman. In the course of a 45-year professional career, he has sold over two million albums; earned five Grammy Awards; and won twenty three W.C. Handy Blues Awards -- more than any other single artist.
On March 14, 2005, Buddy was inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame. Criteria for selection include the influence and significance of the artist's contribution to the development and perpetuation of rock and roll. Past Inductees include Chuck Berry, Fats Domino, Elvis Presley, Bob Dylan, The Beatles, Cream, Bruce Springsteen and The Rolling Stones. Buddy joined the other 2005 inductees, U2, Percy Sledge, The O'Jays and The Pretenders at the 20th Annual Induction Ceremony that was held in New York City.
