William Orbit has hinted that he is currently working with Blur on a new studio album.
The producer, who worked on the band's 1999 album "13", has revealed that he's been in the studio with Damon Albarn and Graham Coxon.
In a tweet Orbit wrote: "I just found out that [Diawara] has done tracks with Damon A, who I'm in the studio with from Wednesday"
He later tweeted to Coxon: "
Hi Graham! Loving the guitars you laid down! Vocal session March 3!"
The band, who will perform at the BRIT Awards 2012 after picking up the Outstanding Contribution To Music award, are said to have recently met up to discuss new material
Speaking on "Xfm" show, he said: "We all remembered how much we loved being a band. I had always said in interviews I didn't miss being in a band, but that reminded me that I did.
"Who knows what will happen, but there is a lot to look forward to."
The band will collect the gong during the ceremony at the O2 Arena on February 21.
Discussing about the award, Damon Albarn has said "recognition for all the work and all the heartache that has gone into this band."
