For those of you who remember, Children Of Bodom announced earlier in the year that they had plans to hit the recording studio that summer and hoped to release a new album either late 2010 or very early the next year in 2011.
The Finnish metal band have recently been in studio working on their new album as planned. This upcoming album will be the bands seventh official studio album (not including their cover album “Skeletons In The Closet”) and will be the first since 2008’s critically acclaimed Blooddrunk.
Most of the recording seems to be finished, but there is still work to be done before the album is complete and ready to be sold. The band still hopes that the album will be out earlier next year as originally planned, but the time frame for this release is still subject to change.
The group has also released their third installment of COBTV. So if you’re interested in watching some new studio footage, getting a preview of a couple upcoming songs, or just want to hear people shout profanities and goof off as they ride combines and run around naked, you can check out YouTube.com.
Hopefully the album will be as great as the previous one and will be Finnish-ed (sorry) shortly.
