Courtney Love Sings About Vengeance And Greed On New Record

According to Rolling Stone, Courtney Love and her band Hole will be venturing through different themes on their upcoming record.

In a recent interview, Love talked about Nobody's Daughter, her first release since 2004's America's Sweetheart. As far themes go, the record is supposed to revolve around greed, vengeance and feminism.

"There’s a lot of maternal instinct on there, and probably my favorite lyric is: ‘Nobody’s daughter, she’s never was, she never will be beholden to anyone. She cannot kill. You don’t understand how evil we really are,’" she said. "I don’t even know what that really means, but I know it’s something to do with my daughter and it’s also to do with me."

Love began writing material for Nobody's Daughter in 2005 and even began recording with producers Billy Corgan and Linda Perry. But after performing the new songs while on the road in 2007, Love decided to record the album again with a different producer and a new band. The album is scheduled to be released in January and will include the tracks "Honey" and "Skinny Little Bitch".

Drugs, the hipster hero worship (which often glazes over critical analysis of whether his music was actually any good, at least, exaggerates it's importance), her husband receives by the very same people who corportaized his music & thus contributed to his depression over whether anyone understood his message, which led to his suicidal downfall, how amusing it is that she, Courtney Love, managed to survive the 90's music scene without getting Hepatitis, etc.

I'm sure if a legitly good writer approached her to co-write a book (much like with Manson's Long Road Out Of Hell), it would be more than interesting, & her hate mob would probably line up to buy the book while bitching about how she ruins everything.

I honestly don't understand why she's even trying to sue them. She agreed to everything and worked with game creators to make sure Kurt looked exactly how she wanted him too (of coarse she chose the Smells Like Teen Spirit video Kurt, because that's totally the song/video he would want to be remembered for), then just because every Nirvana fan with a drop of common sense in their brain thought it was ****ing lame, she's pulling this shit to try and gain some of her non-existent credibility back.

I've read plenty of crap she's posted to the internet without putting it through an editor to try and gather her scatter-brained stupidity into a coherent statement/thought...and honestly, I think she might be brain-dead.

She might not have Hepatitis, but I'm sure there's a slew of STD's she has that we could all get a good chuckle about. I think most people would just toss a book about Courtney Love to the side because everyone with half a brain is pretty well aware that she's unable to keep half of anything she says about herself to be truthful.

30 seconds of one Hole song was catchy...that's about the only good thing I could say about Courtney Loves musical past. Even that song ends up being a boring pile of trash. Courtney's cringe-worthy vocals should be illegal to record, and I'm truly saddened that I may end up in a situation where one of these awful songs could penetrate and rape my ears. Those lyrics were pretty awful too.
