With their festival appearances coming up, Crystal Castles have revealed the details for their second full-length.
The Toronto experimental electronic duo of Alice Glass and Ethan Kath are set to release a self-titled album on June 8. The two musicians also noted they are scheduled to play Glastonbury 2010 on June 26 and 27.
Although it's been rumored since December 2009, the self-titled record has barely been spoken about. Produced by
Kath himself in various locations such as a cabin in Northern Ontario and a church in Iceland, the record will be released through
Fiction Records. 500 12-inch vinyl copies of a new track off the album titled "
Doe Deer" will also be sold in support of Record Store day on April 17th.
Crystal Castles debut album which was also self-titled was released in 2008 and received extremely positive reviews from publications. The record placed #39 on NME Magazine's "Top 50 Greatest Albums of the Decade".
