Cure vocalist Robert Smith has revealed that the band is planning a new album to be released April 2006.
Speaking at the annual Benicassim Festival in Spain he said: "We’re recording October, November and December and the new album will be released on my birthday [21st April]."
Smith added that he aims to work with Suzie and The Banshees songwriter, and previous Cure producer, Steve Severin later this year.
As
previously reported, in June
The Cure recruited their old guitarist to re-join the band's line-up -- guitarist
Perry Bamonte and keyboard player
Roger O'Donnell had left it earlier.
