Daughtry: New Album Release Date Announced

Daughtry has set a November 21st release date for their third album, Break The Spell.

It will be released five years to the day that the band released its self-titled 5x-platinum debut album.

"Going in to the writing sessions, we said, 'Let's not try to sound like anything. Let's just write, and see what happens,'" says Chris, who co-wrote every song with either one of his band-mates (guitarists Josh Steely and Brian Craddock and bassist Josh Paul) or collaborators such as Marti Frederiksen, Busbee, and Bret James.

"We came up with some pretty interesting tunes that sound nothing like anything we've done before. Even though some of them didn't make the album, the process stretched us and took us to new places. It was an absolutely inspirational experience."

Havn't listend to Seether really, however:
Creed-Scott Stap sounds like Eddie Vedder with sinus infection
Nickelback-Chad Kroeger sounds like something is lodged in his throught
Daughtry- Their music is really boring and generic, but he does have a pretty good vocal range. Love or hate the band, you have to admit he can sing.
Putthing that aside, they had a couple decent stuff on there first 2 albums, but this sounds like it could be a little more interesting, i'll deffinitly be giving it a chance.
