Deftones: New Album Release Moved Forward Two Weeks

"Diamond Eyes", the new album from Sacramento's Deftones, has had its release date moved up by two weeks to May 4.

i have it... and its great...after white pony i kinda lost interest in them, except for good morning beautiful which was a great track... but this album kinda reminds me of around the fur... in a cleaner more produced way...but its defitinely a good album...

Okay, if you need a top-notch studio to make your music sound good, you know absolutely nothing about writing music. A studio won't buy you talent, that which you most likely lack.

I've listened to the leak, and I think it will be an album similar to Crack The Skye: No songs stand out in particular; It's the entirety of the album that matters. This album is incredibly original and innovative. Even if this might not be my favorite Deftones album, I still reckon it's their most mature release to date. This is also Chino's best lyrical effort by far. The lyrics are just amazing.

Sextape is my favorite so far.

It's a brand new sound, but it's still the Deftones. Chillout metal. Metal that's not all up in your face constantly. Even though this sounds brand new, they still managed to preserve that distinctive trait which I've been a fan of since the beginning.

Needles & Pins, Minerva, Deathblow, Battle-axe, Bloody Cape, Anniversary of an Uninteresting Event. WHEN GIRLS TELEPHONE BOYS?! Seriously...? Amazing album. I downloaded it as soon as it leaked. I can't wait to buy it and the vinyl. Deftones never cease to amaze me... sick album. ... and if you're a Deftones fan you better buy the ****ing album!!!
