The Dillinger Escape Plan have unveiled the titles of two tracks on their upcoming album.
"Farewell, Mona Lisa" and "Good Neighbor" will both appear on the new record, Option Paralysis, which is scheduled to be released on March 23, 2010. The release is being produced by Steve Evetts (Glassjaw/Every Time I Die) and will be the band's debut on their new label, Party Smasher Inc./Season Of Mist.
"
Wait 'til you hear what we've got for you now," said vocalist
Greg Puciato. "
The vibe when we recorded Ire Works was defined by a feeling of struggle and hope and just staying alive in the face of almost falling apart, feeling triumphant in making it through the previous couple of years, and now the vibe is OK, now we're just gonna f*ck everyone up.'"
Guitarist Ben Weiman also commented on the band's new material stating they were influenced by tragic world issues.
"This shit is not comfortable, the world is not comfortable," he said. "Young girls are being sold as sex slaves, but most people sitting at their computers downloading music don't want to know. They want to sit on a message board or play fantasy football while their mommy makes them a sandwich."
The Dillinger Escape Plan is set to go on tour with Thursday and Fake Problems this month.
