According to Metalunderground.com, Down is rumored to be gearing up for the follow-up to last year's highly acclaimed "Over The Under". No further more information is currently available.
According to the report, the new record will be called Down IV, and it will be released sometime next year if the band does not plan to start recording in 2010. Along with a new record, Down is also planning their first-ever live DVD, possibly including their live performances in Europe, which were shot by Jim Van Bebber.
If the band's next album comes out in 2010, its release will based on the odd-numbered gaps, example: "
Down IV" will come out three years after "
Over The Under", which came out five years after "
Down II", following "
NOLA", which was released seven years earlier.
