Embrace Are Back With New LP

As 2006 kicks off, Embrace can reflect on eighteen months in which they've scored four hit singles, played the biggest headlining gigs of their career and watched Out Of Nothing sell over 600,000 copies in the UK alone, reports Filter-Mag.com.

So their forthcoming album This New Day is quite a self-assured record. As the album title might suggest, it celebrates a whole new approach to both writing and recording for Embrace. Previously, the song writing partnership of Danny and Richard McNamara took the lead but this time round all five members took to jamming in the studio, the end result being that everyone had a hand in the songwriting process.

With 24 songs written in just nine days, the songs on This New Day flowed thick and fast, and will be released on April 3, 2006.

Track listing is as follows:

01. No Use Crying
02. Nature's Law
03. You Will Hit The Target Every Time
04. Sainted
05. I Can't Come Down
06. Celebrate
07. Exploding Machines
08. Even Smaller Stones
09. The End Is Near
10. This New Day

Out of Nothing was a work of art, but seems like this has been recorded far too hastily. i look forward to hearing it, just hope they keep up to standard

Dear god no... Yet another apparently dull album from a mediocre band. What the hell happened to rock n roll?

Booooorrrrriiiiinnnnngggg
g. For those who don't know Embrace, take the depressing sides of Coldplay and Radiohead and here's what you get.

Funnilly enough, their best song was actually written by Colplay. Go figure.

Their songs have an average BPM of about 60 and their lyrics are pointless drivel. The only way they could be considered "rock" is through the eyes of middle aged men who shop at Next! Their live set would encourage any music fan with an average intelligence greater than that of an inanimate carbon rod to dive under embrace's tour bus.

They. Really. Are. Shit.

And don't try any of that "**** you I can have an opinion" crap. You aren't worthy of an opinion if you can't realise how musically incapable Embrace are. Just look at those ****ing track titles; "No Use Crying", "I Can't Come Down", "This New Day". This New Day? WTF?

Case closed.

Ian MacKaye's Embrace was a billion times better.

They remind me of the stuff that comes out of my arse. Which, incidentally, is far more musically talented than all of the members of Embrace put together.

Oh dear, we've been infiltrated by a D+B-loving 16-year-old. Shut up and go listen to your bumpbumpbump crap somewhere where we don't have to know about it. Nobody ever suggested it was rock music either...you made that up. YOU. ALL BY YOURSELF. Eejit. And intelligence has nothing to do with enjoying good music...even some really really stupid people can enjoy good music. Though apparently not all of them...
