Foo Fighters' Led Zeppelin Wembley Concert Set For DVD

Foo Fighters recent performances at Wembley Stadium, which saw them collaborate with two members of Led Zeppelin, will be released on DVD next month.

Foo Fighters: Live At Wembley Stadium features eighteen tracks from the bands two performances on June 6th and 7th.

The final night of the bands residency saw them team up with Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones for the Led Zeppelin tracks "Rock And Roll" and "Ramble On".

Jones and Page's special guest appearance was a complete shock to the crowd and the first time they had performed since reuniting with Led Zeppelin in London last December.

i saw this on the msn concerts website..honestly..i was completely dissapointed, they dont really sound too good, not like their previous dvd,this is coming from a die hard foo's fan

I haven't seen it yet but I just saw them in Indy last week and it was the best concert I've seen in my life, by far...and I've seen some good bands (Chili Peppers, Incubus, Smashing Pumpkins etc.) They played a similar set list too. I'll be picking it up fo sho.

wait, they arent good enough for zep, but they are good enough for the beatles? what?! Led Zepplin grew up listening to the beatles. if it werent for the beatles, led zep never would have been a band. I am a huge zep fan, but the beatles helped start the genre.

LMAO. First off, Dave Grohl is one of the most respected musicians today. Foo Fighters deserve every bit of this. Also, if you're going to make a statement bashing the Foo Fighters, at least show that you have some shred of intelligence by getting the Beatles right. No way. Zed Zeppelin is the greatest band in rock history. They have set the bar, and Foo Fighters did NOT meet it. Not to say Foo Fighters aren't good musicians. Dave Grohl is an excellent drummer (not going to say anything bout that Navaro guy..) but not Zep good.

I saw some of it on the msn thingy, didn't seem as amazing or furious or fun as Hyde Park DVD, which i think is coz the Foos back then were in a friendlier place than Wembley, being a stadium nd all where quite a lot of peeps r sittin down nd not jumpin all over the place. i shall get it anyway, despite Cheer up boys on it...

It was a single, and it's a very emotional song, and it's fairly mainstream. A lot of people think it is one of their better songs. And you would too if you were at one of their gigs, because it ****ing owns live.

It's rumoured, but not confirmed that he wrote it for Kurt. And they did play it, it's just not on the DVD.
