Super Furry Animals have collaborated with a member of Franz Ferdinand on their new album, "Dark Days/Light Years".
Franz guitarist / keyboardist Nick McCarthy - who was raised in Munich - provided German vocals on one track called "Inaugral Trams". SFA frontman Gruff Rhys also sings on the song.
"Dark Days/Light Years" will soon be released by the band themselves through their website Superfurry.com on March 16, followed by the physical release in stores a month later on April 13.
Super Furry Animals are also expected to announce tour dates soon.
