GN'R: Chinese Democracy Track Listing Revealed

The release of Guns N’ Roses' "Chinese Democracy" is becoming more and more real with each passing day. The album, which has been over a decade in the making, is set to be released on November 25 and will be sold exclusively through Best Buy in the United States.

With the release just over a month away, Best Buy has set up a currently inactive preorder page for the CD which features the album's final track listing.

Along with the track listing, the page also features a small image of the album art which, when blown up here, appears to be of a bike with a large basket attached to it.

Maybe some of you don't get the picture.
This is taken in China. China has a history of human rights violations.
They would probably chop your head off if they saw you with a CHINESE DEMOCRACY CD in CHINA.
In the Tiananmen Square Incident the Chinese government killed a bunch of Chinese citizens because they were protesting the governments’ intrusion into their lives (one child laws, take property to build dams, Tibet problems recently)....

So to find Guns N' Roses spray painted against an old building in some poverty stricken village shows the sheer reach of the GNR name. They have fans even in Socialist China.

Yeah maybe it could have been more colourful but I think Axl is trying to make a political statement here. Its black and white....right and wrong. No gray areas.

As for the music, ive heard all leaks and i think they are all great. I don't care what the band is called and i don't care that slash isn't there, the music sounds great and that's all that i care about.

As for the latest news on the album(copied from CD.com):
EDIT BLUEHEART: so here are few notes about the album.

1. It is true that the album is coming out on 23rd of November.
2. An official announcement will be made soon directly from Axl.
3. The artwork we've seen listed on bestbuy.com is the official CD cover
4. The tracklist is legit but the songs won't be on disc with this order.
5. The album will be released worldwide the same day but it might hit the stores in some areas the next day
6. Street Of Dreams is confirmed as The blues
7. The final tracklist of CD is the following:

Why does anyone care about this? Guns N Roses died in the early 90's, they had their place in history, Axl carrying on the name with a bunch of other guys just isn't GnR. It will never be as legendary as their earlier stuff, with the drugged up members and awesome live shows, it is pretty much a new different band with a familiar voice in it.

I heard Shackler's Revenge he other day online. Thought if it took 15+ years to make that piece of garbage then the whole album is going to suck. And you just know that on tour Axl is going to pull his whiny premadonna bullshit, showing up late, giving half-assed performances if he isn't "into it", and just being a prick. I hope this album tanks, and even if it was good I wouldn't buy it just on principle.

In 17 years, between 1966 and 1983, Frank Zappa released 35 albums full of unheard material. THIRTY FIVE FULL LENGTH ALBUMS! 1979 alone had 4 albums, one of which was a Double Album Rock Opera.

Guns N Roses: One album with 14 tracks. Oh, and a single in 1999.

How can this truly be called a GN'R album when there is only one original member left?!

Who cares what the band is called or who's init, judge albums by there music not who made it. look at the last megadeth record, only big dave is left but that album, to me anyway, was one of the greatest megadeth records, and from the leaks ive heard off chinese democracy i don't see why it should be any different in Guns N' Roses case

Appetite was great but the Use Your Illusions were so varied and have some Appetiteish stuff (Garden Of Eden, Don't Damn Me, Back Off Bitch, You Could Be Mine Etc.) and some more different stuff like Civil War, November Rain and Estranged and then all the songs sung by Izzy are good so there's something for everyone.

Thats the thing. If Axl decided to stop calling this band "Guns N Roses" then it would just become a bit of a shitty rock band. There would be a massive lack of interest, because lets face it - how many people would want to go see "Axl Roses new band"? I think its much cooler to say "lets go see Guns N Roses on their new tour" than "lets go see the Axl Rose Experience". So Axl is clinging desperately onto the GNR name so that he maintains popularity.

Shame his popularity will seriously decline after this shithole of a "new album".

I'm a huge Guns n' roses fan, appetite is what got me into music. I'll still buy democracy (IF it is actually coming out). But everyone is gonna say it sucks anyway because after all these years everyone is expecting too much of it. They'll be expecting the greatest songs of the 21st century and they won't get that. i heard the leaked version at a friends house, it sounded like megadeth crossed with rage against the machine rather than guns n' roses... all respect to Axl, he's an amazing vocalist and performer but if it's the same stuff as i've heard, it should just be axl rose: solo album :/ guns n' roses died when the rest of the band left... only Mustaine's ever been able to keep a band alive with only one original member :P

Technically, there wasn't any Guns on Appetite either. "Guns" refers to Tracii Guns who left the band before the first album. So if you're going to bitch, either extend it to all official incarnations of the band or shut the **** up. From the songs I've heard, this album is the obvious progression from UYI. Axl has always been the creative force behind the band.

Of the 14 songs, I've heard 10, and trust me... this album will be huge. Street of Dreams puts most of UYI to shame, and UYI is probably my favorite album of all time.

Actually Tracci Guns was the original "gun" and the reason for it being called Guns (Tracci) and Roses (Axle Rose). However Tracci never played on Appetite, get your facts straight "I'm a fan of GN'R"

At the very least, I think this album will be very interesting. I doubt it will hit me the same way their earlier stuff did, but not because of the members. Of Axl's recent stuff that I've heard, the production of it just sounds so lame. All this industrial shit or whatever it is. I prefer a raw sound and I really don't see that coming through at all. Still, I'll be picking it up on the day of its release and I'm sure there will be a few gems in there.
