Another Friday, another Green Day album artwork unveiling.
The pop-punk trio has released the cover for "¡Tré!", the final installment of their album trilogy, showcasing the face of none other than drummer Tré Cool.
The artwork follows the fashion of "¡Uno!" and "¡Dos!", simply swapping out bandmates, color schemes, and titles for a cohesive final package.
And, of course, it wouldn't be a true Green Day Friday without another 30-second trailer featuring the guys putting in hours at the studio and partaking in all sorts of shenanigans.
"¡Tre!" hits stores and digital shelves Jan. 15, 2013, following the release of "¡Uno!" and "¡Dos!", out Sept. 25 and Nov. 13, respectively.
"Oh Love", the first single off "¡Uno!" and the final track on the album, will premiere on radio July 16.
Dear john_kimble A.K.A. the guy who keeps posting eyeliner jokes,
I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for ransom, I can tell you I don't have money. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills; skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you stop posting eyeliner jokes, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you.
pfft, should've done this instead of the 21st entry rock parody and I might've been interested, but I really don't care bout this band anymore. Go get your money from the teen girls!
Although I like the Green Day albums of the 90s more, I am excited for this trilogy and this could be a huge moment in rock history.
I wouldn't go that far, but it looks like a fun batch of songs their making. This trailer reminds me alot of the Only Ones, so its a return to their seventies punk influences. Can't wait!

I don't know, it really could be.
Think about it...
Green Day is pretty mainstream, so maybe teens will be more interested in rock n' roll.
It was their plan all along, ha ha.
i am so looking forward to it, i became a green day fan six months ago and during that time i listened to every single song by this band. so there is a lack of new green day songs in my collection.

Wait. You're not buying the albums cause 21CB sucked (your oppinion)?
If all of us did the same thing, there wouldn't be mutch bands left, wouldn't it?
Like...name me ONE band that has all of their records of the same quality.
The confusion here stems from the fact that Sallycan wait96 used the word "their" twice in the original post. The first of those was, "... it looks like a fun batch of songs their making." This is the "their" that was corrected to be "they're" instead. Are we good now?
Anyway, just so this doesn't get nuked as grammar Nazi spam, I really enjoyed the last two GD albums and I still listen to them regularly start-to-finish. I have high hopes that these 3 new discs will be just as solid as American Idiot and 21st Century Breakdown, but maybe a little more light-hearted and fun.

Kind of a waste to post this article since in the last one we saw all of them holding the albums with the album arts for all of their faces so we already knew what this album cover looked like.
Seriously though, all three album previews have me hooked. If the single they release is anything close to what's been previewed I will be buying the Uno!. Then I can make a decision based off that as to whether or not I will pursue the remaining two.
I'm not really a Green Day fan [NOTE: At first, I accidently typed 'Greed'. Haha.], but I like the idea of the trilogy. I don't know of many bands doing this sort of thing nowadays.

Shoulda stuck with "their", you had it the first time
no. it's They're. the correction was right
No correction was not right.
Yes, it was. It's the conjugation, "They're" as in "They are" whereas with "their" it's a form of posession. Which seems more appropriate for that sentence?
People change. Bands Change. 21CB sucked cause they tried to recreate American Idiot. That was just a dumb idea. I'm glad to see them going in a different direction and even if these albums suck I'm still gonna buy all 3

Look what I started.... Haha to those above that realized I was referring to the second correct "their" and not the first incorrect "their/they're", kudos. Somehow that was one of the more amusing things I've read on here lately...
Also looking forward to these albums, first preview was by far my favorite
