Guitar Hero 5 To Feature Rush's The Spirit Of Radio

According to Rushisaband.com, Rush will be one of the featured artists on the next installment of the Guitar Hero music video game - Guitar Hero 5.

The track will be the live version of "The Spirit Of Radio" from the Snakes & Arrows Live CD.

Guitar Hero 5 will be similar to its predecessor Guitar Hero World Tour in that it is geared towards playing in a four-person band experience, including lead and bass guitar, drums, and vocals - but it will also have some new features.

It's due to be released on September 1st and can be pre-ordered via Amazon at this location.

NNNOOOOO! guitar hero is no place for Rush! They are too great of a band to be put into guitar hero. now, the only reason people will listen to "The Spirit of Radio" is because they played it on guitar hero. People should learn to play those songs on real instruments instead of on a fake guitar with a bunch of buttons. Am I wrong?

Sounds cool. I personally would have preferred the live version from Exit... Stage Left, but at least this'll get some of the people who play it interested in good music like Rush.
