As the March 29 release date of Guitar Hero: Metallica grows nearer, the band has done right by their fans and updated us every step of the way. In their most recent posting, Metallica dropped a bombshell and unveiled the entire tracklisting for the game.
Metallica Songs:
“All Nightmare Long”

Also worth noting is that if you already own the “Death Magnetic” album download for Guitar Hero World Tour and Guitar Hero III on the Xbox 360 or PS3, those songs will be added into the Guitar Hero: Metallica set list. The band adds in their post, “PS2 and Wii versions (coming in the Spring, most likely in early May) will include "Broken Beat & Scarred," "Cyanide" and "My Apocalypse" since they are not compatible with the Death Magnetic downloadable content.”

While the band urges that this tracklisting is subject to change, this is still very close to what fans can expect to be playing come March 29. Guitar Hero: Metallica promises support for guitar, bass, drum and vocal peripherals and will include an “Expert+” setting which will make use of an exclusive double-bass pedal attachment for the drums. Players will be also able to experience a full story-mode where they will play as a band opening for the Metal-Gods themselves and will also feature classic venues from Metallica’s history.
Guitar Hero: Metallica will be released on March 29 for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. Versions for the Wii and Playstation 2 consoles will be released later this year.
