Guns N' Roses are winding down their European tour.
The trek, which started in May with two shows in Moscow, has only two more dates remaining: Friday at the Costa De Fuego Festival in Benicassim, Spain and Sunday at Son Fusteret in Palma de Mallorca, Spain.
On Tuesday, GNR played the Spaladium Arena in Split, Croatia.
The day before the show, GNR members Dizzy Reed (keyboards), Tommy Stinson (bass) and DJ Ashba (guitar) sat down for an interview with K5 TV.
The guys chatted about the tour, as well as their work on new material.
"That’s definitely our main focus right now," said Ashba.
"We’re always sort of kicking material back and forth and trying to come up with new ideas," added Reed. "Throwing it in the big melting pot that, hopefully, will become the next Guns N’ Roses record."
When asked about who would be contributing new music from a songwriting standpoint, Stinson said, "It will be all these guys; it’ll be all of us, probably. I wouldn’t totally rule it out but probably all of us will be included in making a new record."
Gotta admit, this "New GN'R" is a very competent band, judging by their live efforts. Let's see how they'll do creating new stuff. I mean, most of "Chinese Democracy" was already written before they arrived...
I find it a sign of how bad a time we live in with regards to decent new rock music, that we are all so exited at the news that a band which consists of only one of it's original members and is more of a tribute band of itself has announced that they may, sometime in the future get around to making some original music. That Chinese Democracy is one of the best new rock albums of the last 5 years, when it was mediocre at best, also explains why rock music is so in the doldrums in sales and popularity. These are sad times for us aging rockers!

I think you've been listening to the wrong music. Queens of the Stone age, The Black Keys, Black Stone Cherry, Wolfmother, Slash, Buckcherry and even, most recently Rush have all put out AMAZING albums in the last 5 years. Oh yeah, I thought the newest Van Halen was also amazing.
ugh... sweet mother of god... more time wasted on these lackies? their ring master won't even show up, guess he has them trained up real good. Asshole Rose has driven the name into the ground we all just want an MIB memory wipe so we all think they've been gone since 1993. the end.
That was one of the most painful interviews I have ever seen. To pull a story about Guns working on a new album out of that interview is a long stretch.
I also loved it when they said "If you're getting a babysitter tell them to stay late".
I assume that's because even they are aware they'll be two hours late getting on stage
They came here a few years ago remember...and it was a gigantic f**ck up from day one right up untill it was cancelled. I wouldnt go near a G&R concert.
