Iron Maiden: On-Tour Documentary Release

Iron Maiden are set to release their tour documentary, "Iron Maiden: Flight 666", on Blu-Ray and DVD on May 25.

The film documents the band during last year's "Somewhere Back In Time" world tour, and was directed by Sam Dunn and Scot McFadyen. The second disc in the set features live concert footage taken at 16 different gigs on the tour.

A double-CD soundtrack album will accompany the release, while double-vinyl picture discs will also be issued on the day of release.

The film features footage from the band's customised Boeing 757 – the aeroplane they used to tour the world, piloted by singer Bruce Dickinson.

"Flight 666" is set to be screened in cinemas worldwide on April 21.

Isn't somewhere back in time the soundtrack. Hm. Anyway, UP the Irons and everyone who reads this buy and religiously listen to Piece of Mind, PowerSlave, No Prayer for the Dying, Brave New World, And Iron Maiden and Killers. Oh, yeah, and go see the movie or buy the dvd.

it will be screened in some theatres in aus.

If you go to Iron Maiden's website it has a scrolling list of all the countries it's screening in, I sat there holding my breathe and praying Australia would come up and it did so its here but only at "selected digital cinemas." The soundtrack is called Somewhere Back in Time, isn't it the soundtrack of the Powerslave tour though? Coz this tour was just a repeat of Powerslave. On their website there's a trailer, lol some guy talking about how his mate gave up his job to see them live

The soundtrack is live tracks from the first leg of the tour, same versions as will be on the concert disc of the DVD

the setlist is: churchills speech, aces high, 2 minutes, revelations, trooper, wasted years, Number of the beast, ancient mariner, powerslave, heaven can wait, can i play with madness, run to the hills, fear of the dark, iron maiden, moonchild, the clairvoyant and hallowed be thy name! this was the setlist for 2008, was so amazing to hear all classics than in '06 when they only played 5 and the new album! twickenham ftw!
