Joe Bonamassa Starts Work On New Album

A few years back, few had heard of nu-blues Les Paul maestro Joe Bonamassa. Yet, he is already planning album #13.

In 2011, Bonamassa has already released a solo studio album, "Dust Bowl", a new Black Country Communion album and a collaboration with Beth Hart. He’s also been touring pretty solidly.

Bonamassa has now posted on his website that he is currently writing a new album, and he will be heading into the studio with producer Kevin Shirley (Journey, Rush, Iron Maiden and others) to start tracking yet another record.

Before the next album, Bonamassa will tour the U.K. and release a live BCC DVD and CD entitled "Black Country Communion Live Over Europe" in November.

The dude's on fire, man. Absolutely no signs of slowing down, either. There are much better examples of his talent than that video, though. His live performances are stellar.

Absolutely. My friend's dad showed me a live DVD, and this guy was phenomenal. Some of the best licks I've ever heard.

And he's even better actually live at a show. Despite being practically one of maybe a handful of teenagers at his Oakland show, he just kicks so much ass live, and put on a great show.
