More than six years after his death, Johnny Cash
will return to record stores with a new album featuring one of the last songs the country legend ever wrote.
The final studio album by Johnny Cash
is set to be released next month.
Called "American VI: Ain't No Grave
", the Rick Rubin
produced album was recorded in 2002, a year before Cash
died in 2003.
Featuring covers of artists such as Sheryl Crow
and Kris Kristofferson
, the album will be released on February 22 to coincide with what would have been Cash
's 78th birthday on February 26.
