Damn, I'm not sure they need another live album, they have a few already. Rather write down a few new songs.

That MSG story should have been in the 'Rocks Wildest Moments' list posted yesterday instead of some of the other stupid stories...

In theory its a good idea, Nostradamus was kickass, but going to a live show and only hearing material off of one album may be a little bit irritating, not to mention when the band in question is JP you wouldnt hear any of the classic must-hears from albums like Stained Class.

still sounds great.

Imagine Priest doing an Early days tour like Maiden...now that would be awesome!

man, that is a ****ing epic idea i love their early shit like victim of changes, exciter, tyrant, etc

I'd love to see a live album as well, i saw them here in Australia last year and i honestly think they sounded twice as good as on the Rising in the east dvd. The guitars had more bite and halford was insane, he really gave it everything and we were probably one of the smallest crowds they've played to since the 70's

an amazing band if you ask me.

Nostradamus was, for me at least, quite a big let down. Even more so after hearing the title track for the first time before the album was released(it f**king rips, I love it). To me, it sounded like Painkiller on steroids. There are some good songs on the album, but for the most part, the tunes just plod along while Halford half speaks over top of it, not utilizing his insane range all that much. The title track (set strategically near the end of disc 2) brought about a satisfying catharsis, but not enough to justify the entire album. I'd much prefer an Maiden-esque early days tour, as was mentioned above. I would damn near kill to see The Sentinel live.

bah.. why release more live albums.. why not just get more songs and more work done.

clearly a money grab.

IMO Nostradamus is great. Obviously it aint Stained Class or British Steel material, but it gets the job done. The only dissapointing part is the fact that its alot less "thrashy" eg. future of mankind, prophecy, visions and so forth. Its certainly not the typical JP speed we're used to, but I think its a nice break from the past material.
