Judas Priest To Release Career-Spanning Box Set

If you’ve ever wanted to heavily delve into Judas Priest’s rich catalog, here’s your big chance. The metal legends have announced a 17-CD box set compiling their classic recordings, according to BraveWords.

Judas Priest’s "The Complete Albums Collection" will be released on January 24 via Columbia/Epic/Legacy. The set will include the first-ever, Priest-approved remasters of 1974’s "Rocka Rolla" and 1976’s "Sad Wings Of Destiny". Also featured is a 40-page booklet photos, credits and liner notes by Greg Prato.

I don't have any problems with the ripper stuff not being included.....no problems what-so-ever.

Actually just booked my ticket for The London show in May!

Very strange that the Ripper stuff isn't present on a collection called "the complete albums."

Not saying that Halford isn't the essential Priest singer, but to completely ignore two studio albums of material is just dumb.

I am glad they left the Ripper years out, he was terrible as their singer and did not fit in with them at all. :puke:

yeeeeeah but they weren't very good...

ripper is an awesome singer but he was not a good fit at all with the band.

It's like Motley Crue releasing a career spanning box set, but leaving out the Corabi album. Honestly, I wouldn't be complaining, and I won't about this one.
