Korn: 'MTV Unplugged' CD Pushed Back

The release date of Korn's "MTV Unplugged" CD has been pushed back to March 6 from the previously announced February 20. The performance, which was recorded December 9, 2006 at MTV's Times Square (New York City) studios, includes guest appearances from Robert Smith of The Cure on a cover of the Cure classic "In Between Days", and Amy Lee of Evanescence lending vocals to "Freak on a Leash".

The album version of the performance will also include Korn's cover of "Creep" by Radiohead. Additionally, a video of the track "Freak on a Leash", featuring Amy Lee, can be seen on MTV, MTV2, and mtvU beginning next week. Tune in online at MTV.com to see the full "Unplugged" performance beginning February 10 and on-air beginning February 17.

Twisted Transistor and Coming Undone should have been taken off, Dirty and No Ones There deserve to be on there, there rare songs, and this isbullshit how Korn is doing this. I could care less about Thoughtless, as it was already done acoustic, but DIRT AND NO ONES THERE!!! those would have been amazing acoustic.

Yeah it does suck that those two songs were removed, BUT I'm sure they will be released as bonus tracks or b-sides or something. If they were recorded, you will be able to get your hands them I'm sure. It was a pretty shady move though.

I've heard AOL Acoustic Sessions of "Twisted Transistor" and "Coming Undone". You might want to checkout Limewire or something.

It does suck that they took off "Thoughtless", "Dirty" and "No Ones There". I was really looking forward to hear them. Now we'll have to wait for another "Rare & Live" CD to come out before we get to hear them.

MTV's Unplugged concept means sans distortion. (Of course, several artists along the history of the series have just said "**** that", i.e. Nirvana on "The Man Who Sold The World"'s lead guitar). Just so you know, ledzepplnkid16.
