Lagwagon are expected to begin writing and recording new material for their follow-up to 2005's "Resolve" and release it sometime in 2007, according to Punkbands.com. More further details about this are to be determined.
"Resolve" was released last November through Fat Wreck Chords and is also Lagwagon's follow-up to their come back album 2003's "Blaze", which surfaced five years after its predecessor, 1998's "Let's Talk About Feelings". The album was dedicated to their original drummer Derrick Plourde, who committed suicide on March 30, 2005. After he left Lagwagon in 1996, he played in many band projects such as Bad Astronaut, Jaws, The Ataris and Rich Kids on LSD.
Lagwagon are not currently on tour and have no dates scheduled for this time. However, it is unclear if the band has plans to start working on their follow-up to "Resolve" anytime this year.
