Lostprophets Announce New Album 'Weapons'
Lostprophets have announced details about their new album, entitled "Weapons". The band's fifth album, set for release April 2, is the follow up to 2010's "The Betrayed". A free download of their new track "Better Off Dead" will be released tomorrow (January 6) through their Facebook page. The Welsh band worked with LA, producer Ken Andrews on the new release. The producer posted the news on his blog back in May last year: "Lostprophets approached me in November of last year. These guys have had some huge success in their home territory of the UK. Arena level tours. "They had a big hit here is the states in 2004 with the song 'Last Train Home' from the album 'Start Something' which sold just shy of a million copies. They have been relatively quiet here since, but that's all about to change." A tour will be announced in the coming weeks to coincide with the album's release. Thanks for the report to Gigwise.com.
