WOW! I hope that this album is a mixture of: Countdown to Extinction (1992) (for catchiness), Rust in Peace (1990) (for lengthiness and technicalness) & Peace Sells... but Who's Buying? (1986) (for Speediness).

if it's as good as United Abominations, i'll be happy.

i hope it will be balanced, like some traditionnal thrash songs à la Megadeth, and some slower, heavier songs, and i would be happy if they did a little ballad, like "À Tout Le Monde". i hope it'll be worth it!

04.How the Story Ends (working title)
05.Nothing Left to Lose But My Mind
06.The Hardest Part of Letting Go

God those song names don't sound good. I can think of almost three bands that have a song called 'Bite the Hand That Feeds'...

we'd all love that. But you shouldn't get your hopes too high up, you might be dissapointed. those albums are classics because there are none other like them

I really like the sound of 'This Day We Fight'. I have it in my head as a ort of Good Mourning/Black Friday meets Metallica's 'For Whom The Bell Tolls' or 'Disposable Heroes'. Unlikely but it would be amazing if true.

could be cool if El Pistolero Solitaire and how the story ends, were linked together as one story.

Is it just me or does it seem like the album will be less political than the two previous albums? Judging from the titles of the songs

at least three of those song titles could easily be political. It's Mustaine, so it probably will be political anyway. God, I hope he doesn't put in any more of those lame talking things he has put on recent albums (blackmail the universe, United Abominations etc)

Dont ever compare them to metallica. i dont care how megadeth started out or why they came to be. megadeth blows. big time. megadeth will always be Metallica's bitch.

Read what I said. I didnt compare them to Metallica. I said that the song in my head sounds between a cross between a Megadeth and a Metallica song. No comparisons whatsoever because I love both of them.

what sounds good and what not is a matter of taste, so i am not going to argue with over who sounds better or the like. i will however claim that megadeth from day one always has had the better musicians than metallica, since technical prowess is in fact something that can to a certain extent be meassured. i will also say that over both their careers metallica has been the least consistent one when it comes to quality albums. they have made quite a few misses in their time whereas i think megadeth has been more consistent and only really have put out two albums, whereas only one sucked major bumhole

The songtitles seem pretty lame =( Hopefully this won't be a cousin to "death magnetic".

Hopefully they are still metal, not powderpuffs like Metallica is now.
Rust in peace was the best but I think they are still doin ok We will see... we will see.

Just the song ''Sleepwalker'' from United Abominations is more metal than anything metallica released in the past 15 years

God the song titles suck ass... sounds like a Disney band's songs. BUT, megadeth is amazing, and if they try something new, i say go for it. But they better not go as far is metallica with St.Dildo.
