MxPx: New Album Next Year?

Side One Dummy has set 2007 as the rumoured release date for MxPx's eighth studio album -- the follow-up to last year's effort "Panic". This rumour was originally repored by Pause & Play last October. There are some talks about recording the album sometime before the end of this year.

MxPx's last studio album, "Panic", was released on June 7, 2005. The song "Heard That Sound" proved a radio hit and the album sold many copies in the United States. The album peaked at #77 at The Billboard 200 Album chart.

Also during last year, the band has been playing at the "Vans Warped Tour" 2005 along with bands like Dropkick Murphys, Millencolin, My Chemical Romance, The Offspring, Thrice, The Transplants, etc.

I used to like them, but yeah. It's all kind of genereic pop punk (if that term should even exist). They don't totally suck, it's just that I grew out of them.

Heck yeah! Panic sounds as good as the old stuff like Pokinatcha, Teenage Politics, Life in General, Slowly Going the Way of Buffalo, The Ever Passing Moment though.

Yes Yes Yes Badreligionfrk you hit the nail on the head punk doesnt exist. There are parts of punk in these bands but not alot. And all you people who dont listen cause they dont sound like the sex pistols, ramones, the clash ETC. You must not have a lot to listen to the because i havent heard a band like the classic 70s punks since the 70s. And why do you read this news if you dont like them????? your all weird
