New Found Glory Plan New EP

New Found Glory have announced plans for their second post-major label release.

This time, the long-running pop-punk outfit will be releasing a new 7-inch/EP via noted hardcore label, Bridge 9.

Due out April 2008, the disc will feature three New Found Glory originals and three cover songs. It is titled Tip of the Iceberg and was was recorded with Paul Miner (of Death By Stereo notoriety) who was also at the helm for NFG's last two proper albums,

The disc will feature artwork by hardcore illustration legend Sean Taggart, made famous for his work on classics by Agnostic Front and the Crumbsuckers, as well as supplying artwork for more recent Bridge Nine releases from Mental and Think I Care.

They know how to cover songs epicly, I loved how they got loads of feature artists on From The Screen... II as well! Didn't really like Coming Home though, their last proper album. Bring back Sticks And Stones or Catalyst for original material and I'll be very happy indeed!

Seriously, we need another "Sticks and Stones" that's a great album, all the songs are amazing and it's just overall a great album, I'm sick of their new style that's overly emo, to the point where I can't stand them and they used to be one of my favorite pop punk bands, them and Sugarcult have changed into this awful sounding emo band and I want the fast paced pop punk back. I hope they do that.

Soooo not emo... it's just a more refined sound.
