New Skinny Puppy Album Next Month

Industrial/techno godfathers Skinny Puppy will have its 13th studio album in stores next month.

The band's set to drop Mythmaker Jan. 30 on SPV America. The album finds the duo of Ogre and cEVIN Key exploring control and manipulation of culture, on both a political and social level on the effort.

"Control is a central concept to the record, the idea where mythic archetypes are clung to in an effort to preserve their own fucked-up sensibility," Ogre said in a statement. "The most amazing thing that I've found is that people usually look outwards and project on others what they hate most about themselves."
