According to update at Nine Inch Nails' official website, nin.com, the band's new album titled "With Teeth" has at last been completed. Frontman Trent Reznor had the following to add: "The band is rehearsing. I can't wait to present this music to you - on your stereo and in your town. Happy New Year."
The follow-up to 1999's "
The Fragile", "
With Teeth" was mixed with
Alan Moulder (
The Cure,
Smashing Pumpkins) and is tentatively scheduled for release in March.
"With Teeth" was recorded in part at Sound City Studio in Van Nuys, Ca., and features a guest appearance on drums by former Nirvana drummer/current Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl.
Nine Inch Nails' current touring lineup is believed to include drummer Jerome Dillon and bassist Jeordie White (a.k.a. Twiggy Ramirez, A Perfect Circle, ex-Marilyn Manson).
As previously reported, Trent Reznor's remix of U2's "Vertigo" is scheduled to be included on U2's upcoming single, "Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own".
