I'm a huge OLP fan, but to be honest, the first single kinda sucked, and it looks like the new album is gonna be another overly-mainstream take like their last one. I'm just disappointed because Maida said in an interview that it would sound more like their first release, 'Naveed'.

Yea this stuff doesnt compared to songs love Naveed, and Supermans Deads, those songs off the early albums were really inventive

Yeah, the new single sounds nothing like 'Naveed'. Here's hoping the rest of the album does...

I think, that the first single is gonna be maybe one of two kind of songs like that; slow. It's what im hoping for anyway..

That's because Mike Turner isn't with Our Lady Peace anymore. He brought all the creative edge you hear on the "Naveed"and "Clumsy" records. Steve Mazur is nothing but a cutout of Chad Kroeger's(Nickelback) guitar playing.

The first single is pretty bad, but Monkey Brains and Paper Moon sound great.

Wow, these guys are still around? I liked one song by them 7 years ago when I was 9.

Finally some new OLP stuff. I really like the new single actually. People critise their stuff from Gravity onwards, but I still think that its some of their best stuff.
