Paramore have announced that they will be releasing three new singles over the next three months.
The band, who have just finished a summer tour, have set up "Singles Club", which offers fans the chance to buy one new track per month for the next three months.
It begins with new single "Renegade", which is available now and can be listened to by scrolling down to the bottom of the page and clicking. It will be followed by new track "Hello Cold World", which will come out on November 7 and finally "In The Mourning", which will come out on December 5.
The tracks will only be available for purchase from the band's official website Paramore.net and will not be sold via iTunes or in stores.
The band have posted an update on their official website about their release plans, which reads as follows: "For months now, we've promised that we'd be releasing some new songs before the end of the year. Well, here is where we finally make good on all of that. We are very happy to announce the Paramore Singles Club that will be happening throughout the rest of the year. This club is our way of getting these songs directly to the Paramore family."
The band also spoke about their reasons for the new releases and their plans for 2012, writing: "We really wanted to do something special for all of you around the holidays to thank you for making 2011 so amazing and sticking with us as we go into 2012 and start working on the new album."
New Paramore just sounds like a bunch of bad b-sides by old Paramore. And I really used to love them. Even after Josh and Zac left I was patient and wanted to give them a chance, despite being skeptical. Having heard Monster and now Renegade I'm really not interested anymore. Sad.
I'm not a Paramore fan but I've been observing them ever since they came on the scene. Their recent moves, I think, have made them much less identifiable and accessible than they were before. Even though the girl was the focal point, I think people still liked seeing them as a band with the Farro brothers.
The Paramore of today is random pictures of Haley on music websites and "singles" being released. All momentum has been lost and the general public is too impatient and indifferent to care what they do from here on out.
The music has become too predictable. I swear when Paramore first come out, before all the Twilight hype too, they sounded fun and quite exciting. They bore me now.

Wow. A sound, clear, concise opinion from a U.G. user. Kudos.
Great! Three more Paramore songs that I'm NOT going to listen to. I don't even bother with this band after I heard what they did after Misery Business. And even that song gets on my nerves.
I personally think that the Farro Brothers made the right decision to bail out of Paramore when they had the chance. It's really a sinking ship as of now. I will admit, I did give them a chance - Monster was actually a pretty decent tune in my opinion, but now they really are starting to sound too predictable. I think that within the next year or two, Paramore will have joined the halls of music mediocrity
I don't think people actually get the point of that:
1. Yes, Paramore may have changed.
2. They may have released a predictable, poppy song. Hmm... Have you ever thought that this may be because they wanted to show that they're not just a plain, old rock band.
Give them a chance. Jeez.

I'm sorry but did you just claim that by releasing a "predictable, poppy song" they are trying to show that they are not just a a plain old rock band?
Paramore was only big for 2 reasons , haley has a sweet ass body/ Females get a sense of empowerment from a female rock singer so listen to them.
The same way metalheads compensate and get a sense of masculinity by not washing and growling like prehistoric neanderthals while playing the lowest bass note and double-peddling as fast they can?
Or perhaps it's just that Paramore have a good sound and are an easy listening rock/punk/pop band.
Everything about this is worse than with the Farro Brothers. The guitar is literally just power chords. The bass line is just the bass notes of those power chords. The drums don't accent enough to be interesting. The lyrics are awful and the range unimpressive. The structure is basic.
There is nothing to make me want to listen to this.
It's fairly obvious that since the Farro brother's left, Hayley's managers who appeared to be a major causal factor in the split have been pushing far too hard to ensure that new material breaks out. It sounds like they think that as long as they make some noise, people will buy it and popularity will continue. However I'd argue against that logic, the phrase "any publicity is good publicity" certainly does not apply here. This stuff is admittedly different, which is to be expected from a band with a new dynamic, but this is just ANOTHER processed piece of crap.
I really didn't hate it. Her voice is still quite badass and I have a feeling these singles will be feelers. They're being put out over a little bit of time, hopefully so that Paramore can figure out the direction they need to go. I'm not a HUGE fan, but I like 'em. My guess is the songs in November in December will be better...or atleast different.

hahaha. i mostly listen to heavy music like metal, hardcore, etc. but this is funny and so true...
btw, yes the old Paramore was good but bands change over time even when they keep their members. this guys lost two so their sound was doomed to change and their bad at all. if you don't like it you just might be in love with that one album you heard first.. give this one a chance.
In The Mourning was good, they played it with this song when I saw them in New York, not to much of a fan of this song. But Brand New Eyes is there best album IMO so I haven't given up on new Paramore.
For A Pessimist, I'm Pretty Optimistic for this new stuff. I think monsters was a great song. This new song is kind of just plain.... They need to pick up a second guitar player who knows how to rip that would help them out a lot right now.
Why is this on a guitar site? Paramore is a teenie bopper pop band...
Because they have guitar players, and this is a website about guitars. Also, they're a pretty famous band, so why wouldn't they post something about Paramore?

So basically you think their thought process was that it's better to be a s*** pop group than a mediocre rock band?

wow your a dumb **** it's music anyone can listen to it the only reason they have become a so called "tennie bopper band" is because they put their music in the twilight movies and now a bunch of 14 year old girls with emotional disorders unfortunately like this band.
Hayley Williams has an amazing voice there is no denying that she's one of the few mainstream female singers that don't embrace the devil know as auto-tune.
Okay so judging from these comments I'm the only one who actually likes the song. Production could have been better, I'm not a fan of Cavallo's work concerning Hayley's vocals (the layering, mostly). Still, this song is catchy and has potential, especially for a live show (sounded awesome at the fueled by ramen show last month).
also, UG, please use more recent pictures of the band. That top picture is from 2006, for god's sake.

I actually really enjoy the song. I will say that the production is a bit shoddy though. Haley's vocals are over produced and they're good enough without the over-layering and what not. The drums are overly triggered and they sound like legit drum pads. I hope they can clean this up at some point before actually releasing the album.
I really think the drums are lacking in Renegade. I first noticed the drums when I heard Monster, something was just missing from the song and I soon realized it was the drums. I didn't realize how important Zach was to do the band until after he left =(. But I still think it's a good song.
Besides Hayley's voice, the Farro brothers really made this band. After they left, it seems Paramore has went to crap. The samething pretty much happened when Ben Moody (the guitarist) in Evanescence left, except Evanescence was able to still make a couple of good songs for a while. Now, they just kind of suck cus its all about Amy Lee and her played out goth image.
Paramore actually had some good guitaring by Josh Farro which is why their music was interesting. Now, its all about Hayley's voice.

I'll give em a chance i like to be open minded, since I have such a varied music taste I mean I waited for a lot of my favorite artist/groups change and wait to see until they get their new sound down pat and stop feeling out there, It's not bad but I prefer the old sound so far, and we will see how it goes...

i completely agree to this. i mean, ppl want to BS Paramore b/c all they want to see is Hayley strip or Josh and Zach on stage again. its not about that. its about facing the obstacles that arise and moving forward. Paramore (not HAYLEY) are doing that the best they can. if you really dnt like it, then go listen to some REAL scene music. Paramore hasnt changed in the six years ive listened to them and honestly, they never will.
Haley is a very average looker actually, cute not hot unless you really are in to that whole lollita thing.
Anyway back to the music, its pop rock by the numbers, not a bad thing not a good thing. Its there for kids to get in to as an introduction to other stuff. Like a lot of bands they peaked on thier second/third album and then churn out the stuff that will sell. They were never going to be a band that was there to make you think or write music to analytical geometry, you want that go listen to prog rocl/metal.
This is just bouncy fun catchy stuff for kids to jump around to, pretty much does the job, its not meant to be deep.
i like the new songs that they came out with but i still have yet to here hello cold world, paramore is a great band an i cant wait til their new album, i honestly cant tell the differance between their new stuff an old stuff it almosts sounds the same, an one thing i have to say i hate how each article for every band they always have people hating on them seriously if u dont waste ur time if u dont like the band, also i really never cared for josh or zac
