Paul McCartney has unveiled the track-listing and release date for his new album "Memory Almost Full."
The long player will hit the shelves in Europe on June 4 and Stateside a day later.
Macca started work on the 13 tracks with producer David Kahne before he had even released his last effort "Chaos and Creation in the Backyard" two years ago.
Speaking of the album, McCartney reflects: " In places it's a very personal record and a lot of it is retrospective, drawing from memory, like memories from being a kid, from Liverpool and from summers gone. The album is evocative, emotional, rocking, but I can't really sum it up in one sentence."
His 21st studio album is being released in America via the Starbucks backed record label Hear Music.
The full track-listing is as follows, according to GIGWise:
Dance Tonight
Ever Present Past
See Your Sunshine
Only Mama Knows
You Tell Me
Mister Bellamy
Gratitude
Vintage Clothes
That Was Me
Feet In The Clouds
House Of Wax
End Of The End
Nod Your Head

: Nice to see he's still making albums. The last one was one of the best solo albums he's ever made. POSTED: 04/30/2007 - 11:19 am / quote |

: Yeah, his last album was one of the most solid albums he´s made...I mean, nothing earth-shaking, but very little filler. I wonder if this one will be as good.
Somehow I feel Paul never got around making his truly "Classic" post-Beatles album. John´s got "Plastic Ono Band", Harrison, "All Things Must Pass", and...well, Ringo, "Ringo". But I do not get the feeling McCartney truly gave his best in any of his solo albums. Not even "Band on the Run".
He obviously wrote a shitload of classic songs, though.POSTED: 04/30/2007 - 12:19 pm / quote |

I might give that honor to "Band on the Run" but thats just my opinion. And I loved Chaos and Creation, I hope this is as good or betterPOSTED: 04/30/2007 - 01:21 pm / quote |
