Poison The Well: New Album Update

Poison The Well have posted an update as they continue to work on new material for their next full length.

"So we're about halfway done with writing the new record now. We just demoed our first 7 songs and figured it would be a good spot for everyone to check in and say hi. It doesn't sound like any other PTW records, but it sounds like a great next step. I don't know how to describe it... the closest comparison I have is saying it sounds like music made by a vampire crust punk wearing a cutoff jean jacket with spikes and a giant Crass patch on the back, headbanging to darkly romantic 50s music while on his way to the beach for a surf party."

The band released "Versions" in 2007.

I personally loved versions because I actually listened to it and didn't discriminate against it b/c it was a step away from their generic hardcore past, so i'm really really looking forward to this new album!
