RA Featuring 13-Year-Old Boys: Debut Due In Early 2009

RA, a new Finnish metal band consisting of three 13-year-old boys, has inked a deal with EMI Finland. The group's debut album, "Punainen Virta", will feature a lyrical theme based around Egyptian mythology and is tentatively due in early 2009.

RA's first single, "Painajainen", was released earlier in the year.

Finnish TV footage of RA performing at the Elämä Lapselle charity fundraising concert in September 2008 can be viewed here.

Tomi - Vocals, Guitar
Jesse – Drums

agreed with a lot of the people about them not being very good. But at least they are not like the Jon*******s. Still, there is a band that is called Ra already...that's some sueable copyright shit. And the Ra that's still around is not too bad either. Pretty good music.

Expect their name to be changed ASAP. There's already a signed band named Ra that's been out since the early 2000s(possibly 90s). Another 13-young-old gimmick band. I think I'll pass. I understand it's cool and their talented, but there really are only a few things that need to be postponed until they get a little older. Let the kids get some more maturity and exposure under their belt instead of trying to cash on a few quick bucks.

What makes this more sad is that they will probably be successful because of all the god damned pop star craving kids out there. Sad day in music. Fortunately i for one could care less about major record companies cause half of them have no ****ing idea what they're doing anymore lol.
