Though originally promised as a freely downloadable album, it looks like Rancid frontman Tim Armstrong's solo album will be getting a proper release after all. The record is titled A Poet's Life (view artwork here) and is now due out May 22, 2007.
The disc will feature 11 songs, and the album itself will be packaged with a bonus DVD featuring a video for each song on the lbum, as well as a featurette on the making of the album. Earlier this week, Tim released the latest video from the album, for "Into Action" featuring Skye Sweetnam and the Aggrolites.
01. Hold On
02. Wake Up
03. Oh No
04. Into Action
05. Among The Dead
06. Take This City
07. The Dark
08. Girl, I Only Want What's Best For You
09. Inner City Violence
10. Burning Angel
11. Cold Blooded

: i dont know, i think that this album may be pretty decent. i mean, it is still worth checking out. Tim has become pretty stable with his music, and when you are in a legendary band like rancid, you tend to get a pretty good fan base..lol! i mean, look at the exposure of the transplants...you know? i think that tim's solo album is gonna rock.POSTED: 03/30/2007 - 09:32 pm / quote |

As for Tim's solo album, it will probably be hit and miss - like most of Rancid's stuff.POSTED: 03/31/2007 - 01:07 pm / quote |
