Red Hot Chili Peppers: Single After 'Snow' Revealed

Red Hot Chili Peppers' bassist Flea casually released what would be the next single after "Snow" to the official website on the 28th via his online blog, the cleverly named "Fleamail".

"Hump De Bump" will be next, and it will get a video from a director the Chili Peppers have never worked with. The director will be famous actor and comic Chris Rock.

Other songs confirmed to be eventual singles are "Storm In A Teacup" and "Stadium Arcadium". It should be noted there is one more single that is to be announced.

whenever i hear that a single is coming out i dont think "yay its gonna be on the radio" i think "yay theres gonna be a neew video coming out!" and hump de bump is my favorite song on SA and i really like chris rock, so im exited about the video

why do people hate this song so much? i think it's because they don't like the chorus. The music is amazing, and the entire part Kiedis sings during Flea's insane bass part is genius. Hump de Bump is way better than Snow or Tell Me Baby, which were both really good songs.

I think Hump De Bump is going to their most popular amongst most people because I think its the most poppy song in the album.

you know, when i first listened to californiacation, by the way, and stadium arcadium, i kinda felt the same way about some of the songs. then i listened to them more and realized they ARENT filler. those songs are just as good, they just dont stick out as much. almost every song is great, and there is very little on these albums i would call filler. same with the other albums, but i heard more filler at first on the recent albums.

hump de bump is one of my favorite songs off of stadium arcadium, i think it'll be a good single, it should give them lots of (more) attention to the album.

Especially In Michigan should be a single. But it's not Frusciante playing the solo, it's the chap from The Mars Volta, so it probably won't be. Desecration Smile or Charlie would be good.

i don't think hump de bump is their best one their album, it should be esppecially in michigan or 21st century.
but they shouldn't release too many songs off the one album even if it is 28 songs.

Wet Sand, Charlie and Make You Feel Better are likely candidates for the last one I'd say. Flea is THE bass player of the times. You need to see him live to really under stand it. Hump de Bump is a savage song. The steel drums part is genius.
