Rise Against: Album Next Year

Producer Bill Stevenson has confirmed that Rise Against will indeed be returning to his Blasting Room Studios (recent efforts from 7 Seconds, the Suicide Machines) in the near future to record their next album and the followup to 2004's "Siren Song Of The Counter-Culture."

Blasting Room is responsible for the band's 2003 effort, "Revolutions Per Minute," while "Siren Song" was recorded with GGGarth at Plumper Mountain Studio.

A release is tentatively scheduled for Summer 2006 on Geffen Records, according to PunkBands.com.

The band toured this summer alongside with Comeback Kid, From Autumn To Ashes and The Loved Ones.

sweet ace, rise against is teh shit, and their single 'swing life away' shouldnt be a singl because it is too radio friendly and it gives the wrong idea of their sound. but im stoked for the new album.

I love Rise Against. The first cd "The Unraveling" was a good Hardcore/Skate Punk cd. I hope they do something like that.

Rise Against along with Dillinger Escape Plan are the two best new bands out right now. Rise Against has one of the best bass players I've heard for some time. The band is just excellent, can't wait for the new record.

They are coming to a concert here in Utah that is put on by the alternative radio station here, and they are doing some "Special Acoustic Performance", so im thinkin maybe the'll have a dvd out soon or something with acoustic stuff, total theory but thought i would share.
