Viva Records released the perfect CD for its 2006 initial offering, the much-awaited "Rivermaya Greatest Hits 2006: The Ultimate Collection." It hit stores last December 13, 2005.
The album features the massive hit song "Posible" which, during its premiere at the opening of the recent SEA Games, drove the 400,000-strong Luneta crowd into a wild frenzy. "Posible" is also receiving amazing response from neighboring countries to which the event was beamed live.

Rivermaya Greatest Hits 2006: The Ultimate Collection" contains 15 timeless classics, including "Liwanag sa Dilim," "Umaaraw, Umuulan" and the touching "Balisong." Also included is "Alab ng Puso (Tagumpay)" which has become a beloved victory anthem across the land, used in basketball championships and is Manny Pacquiao's favorite fight song.
Rivermaya is composed of Rico Blanco on vocals and guitar, Japs Sergio on bass, Mike Elgar on guitar, and Mark Escueta on drums. The legendary group that's been dubbed "Ang Banda ng Bayan" is the only 4-time winner of the MTV favorite group award (3 times for the Philippines, 1 Asia-wide) and is generating a cult-following among musicians in Singapore, Thailand, and Malaysia.
