Rob Thomas announced plans this week to release a four song digital only EP entitled Someday EP. Featuring three new songs, the EP will be available on iTunes starting March 30th, and all other digital retailers April 6th.
The new tracks, which are carried over from Thomas' Cradlesong recording session, are listed below.
Thomas' next release is expected to be a new album with
Matchbox Twenty, which he has been working on between breaks from touring in support of his solo release.
"The plan is that we are going to all get together, probably in the spring, and start writing," Matchbox Twenty drummer/guitarist Paul Doucette told Alternative Addiction last fall. "Rob's going to come back and forth between touring his record and being in studio [with us]."
The band is also rumored to begin touring together again in the later summer/early fall, their first tour together since 2008.
