Slipknot Prep Antennas To Hell

After two decades of Grammy winning work, heavy metal band Slipknot will release "Antennas To Hell", a best-of collection that includes such hits as "Spit It Out" and "Left Behind", on July 24.

According to drummer Joey Jordison, "when we get together, something monstrous happens and we pull this amazing sound out of all that energy."

A continually evolving band that has lost and gained musicians over the years, Slipknot will include career spanning hits on the best-of compilation that also promises rare, behind the scenes footage of the group at its shows.

Slipknot, one of the most recognizable names in the pantheon of elite heavy metal bands, will also include a DVD of its performance at 2009's Download Festival in Donington Park, England.

Antennas to Hell is an awful name, seriously it's just like they took a random word out the dictionary and made it sound evil. I can do that, how about "Toaster of Damnation"?

Solid list. Although I still cannot stand Before I Forget, I think Opium of the People or The Blister Exists would fit in better with the list. But solid otherwise.

What da F...???? Why didn't they come up with new songs? I hope these songs are good otherwise our 5 year wait (it'll be about 5 years when they release this) has been for nothing.

Sadly, Corey Taylor tweeted that Stone Sour are releasing a double album. The first one comes out this year, and then the other next year. Not sure if they've recorded the second CD or if they will hit the studio again.

No, its 2 different albums,
House of Gold and Bones Part 1 and Part 2 one comes out this year and the other next year

True that =/ I still like Stone Sour, but Slipknot have been pretty much the front of nu-metal and that's what I'm more into them than SS (no offence intendd).
