To help celebrate the band’s 20th anniversary, The Smashing Pumpkins will release their very first live concert DVD on November 11.
The DVD, titled “If All Goes Wrong”, will be packaged in a dual-disc format.
Disc 1 will feature a 105 minute documentary about a series of shows the band performed at the Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco during the summer of 2007. It will also include a featurette about the band’s fans and an interview with Pete Townshend of The Who. The documentary was directed by Jack Gulick and Daniel E. Catullo III.
Disc 2 will feature select songs from the band’s performances. These include “
The Rose March”, “
Superchrist”, and “
Zeitgeist”. The concert performances will be played in 5.1 Surround Sound.
In other news, the band is scheduled to release their new single “G.L.O.W.” via download for Guitar Hero: World Tour when that releases on October 26.
