LifesSweetDrug :
They first album will always be there best. It's a shame they no longer have Ryan McCombs as there singer He was what made them unique.

Hes not in the band anymore cause hes an ass. haha. But yeah True self was phenomanal. Can't wait to hear what they come out with this time around. They should record another Opressor album to! That'd be sick!!

Still the same great band, but I think Ryan took the magic with him to drowning pool.

Ryan had a really unique voice.

Scars is their best album so far

looking forward to this. I keep in touch with these guys monthly, mostly Tim, but AJ writes as well. All around decent guys, this album should be different knowing Shaun left for Dirge, which I can't listen to. I really wanna see what AJ pulls off as the singer and pulling guitar duties on this one.

i thought Scars was an amazing album and Ryan's voice is amazing, imo. though i definitely feel these are one of those bands that has weakened w/ each album

Whoa, Ryan's in Drowning Pool now? I actually had the album he was on, and still didn't know.

Ah well, like it seems everyone else is doing, I'll stick to listening to Scars.

Ryan was great with Soil...Not so much with Drowning Pool.

I love AJ though...His voice is probably the most powerful ive heard in a long time.

Didn't one of their guitarist quit as well?

I agree that Ryan took the magic with him when he left, but I'll take old-Soil over new-Drowning Pool any day.

If you're a fan of Scars, you should check out the songs "Hello Again" and "Everything" off of their early album "Throttle Junkies"...both songs are pretty epic.
